Some Business School Taking Priority In Other factors beyond the GMAT
Currently some business schools no longer require the GMAT. They prefer to override the GMAT for certain applicants to depend on other factors such as the GPA index or work experience. Some business schools also replace the GMAT with a score of GRE (Graduate Record Examination). GRE exam is a prerequisite for a traditional graduate school. GRE has some resemblance to the GMAT.
Some business schools had not used the GMAT and GRE scores received enough because they believe that the GMAT is not the best indicator to assess the ability of business school MBA applicants. Some of these schools are highly ranked institutions such as Harvard University, Stanford University, Yale University, columbio University, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, Wharton University and Duke University.
Some of the executive MBA program, students who have received a professional business experience more than a decade. The business school also states that applicants with achievement in career and work experience in executive positions is a better indicator to see the success of the MBA program instead of the GMAT score.
If you do not take the GMAT

For the online MBA program already have 11 of the 40 schools do not require the GMAT as Babson College, Syracuse University, Colorado State University, Pace University, Saint Josepth University, Northeastern University, Scranton University and St. Thomas University.
Meanwhile, of the 150 part-time MBA program, there are 15 programs already do not require the GMAT as a condition of entry. They are University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Ohio University, University of New Mexico, Colorado State University, Purdue University, University of Michigan, Washington University in St. Louis, Saint Xavier University, St. John Fisher College, Sacred Heart University, and Loyola University Maryland.
